Pastors Dennis & Crissy Sanders

The message of the Terre Haute Church of God is to "Expect a Miracle," and Pastors Dennis & Crissy Sanders are living examples of the miracle working power of God! Since getting radically saved, healed and delivered from a life of darkness and oppression in 1989, they have fully embraced the call of God on their lives to reach the world with the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

They have been married for twenty-two years and have one son, Joshua Caleb, who is twenty years old.  Joshua recently proposed to a beautiful girl, Madison, and will be married in July 2012. They are already preparing to enter into ministry after graduating from college. 

After entering the ministry in 1992, Pastors Dennis and Crissy began by serving as youth /associate pastors and have now being serving in the office of Senior Pastors since 1994.  Dennis Sanders has also achieved the honor of being an Ordained Bishop in the Church of God since 2006.

Not only have Dennis and Crissy been very active as Senior Pastors, but the element that makes this such a dynamic ministry is that Crissy is also a vital part of the team.  She travels around the world hosting conferences, crusades and revivals as she also carries out her role as Evangelist (www.crissysanders.org).

The driving force behind this ministry team is vision, passion, and a heartfelt desire for all of God's people to experience a true manifestation of His power in their lives. 

As pastors they are adamant about the fact that every believer has a God given destiny in life. Because of this they are committed to helping individuals remove every obstacle that stands in the way of them living a life of fulfillment and victory. 

Associate Pastors
Pastors Adam & Angie Millar

In a whirlwind romance, Pastor Adam proposed to the love of his life after meeting her 5 weeks earlier.   The day after their wedding, the groom returned to his duty station preparing to serve as a Sergeant in the United States Army stationed in Iraq.  This decorated veteran received an honorable discharge and eventually moved to Indiana with his bride and family.

Once in Terre Haute, this couple became actively involved in the Terre Haute Church of God.  They serve God by serving the congregation of the local church and reaching beyond its doors. Adam is the director of our Bus Ministry, oversees our Ushers and Greeters, and is instrumental in welcoming both members and visitors to our weekly services.  Angie also participates in various ministries in the church, such as Praise and Worship team, an Alliance Women’s Mentoring Director and Mentor, and is in the process of creating a new Hospital Visitation Ministry.  She also ministers to groups in our church and other churches in our area.  Both currently serve as Armor Bearers for our senior pastors, with Angie traveling throughout the nation and other counties with Pastor Crissy.  (www.crissysanders.org).

They have been married for twenty-two years and have three beautiful children.  Their oldest, Danyel is married to a mighty man of God, Ryan Forlu.  Together with their one year old son, Samuel, they reside in Laurel, MD and are leaders in their church.  Adam Millar, II is a SPC in the United States Army. Both he and his wife, Danielle are recently home from serving our country in Iraq while awaiting the birth of their first child. Their youngest child, Kara Lynn is actively involved in Awakening Student Ministries and is a Frontline Intern. She volunteers in our church nursery, breakfast ministry, and 3 year old class nursery. She is attending college to pursue a career as a business owner in pet care.

Student Pastors
Pastors Mike & Jonna McGill

Married for two years, these newlyweds are on fire for God. Serving as student pastors in Indianapolis, IN and Hillsborough, NC before moving to Terre Haute, Pastors Mike & Jonna are passionate about reaching the students of our city and providing alternative outlets that promote a positive lifestyle.

With ministry instilled and rooted in their backgrounds, choosing the path of student ministry was not only God’s calling in their lives, but also their burning desire. They are fulfilling their destiny and enjoying their current tenure here in Terre Haute while working towards reaching every high school within the year.

Pastors of Outreach
Pastors Jason & Kirsten Althoff

Pastor Jason was once one of those people who was skeptical about God and His creation of this world.  After giving his life to Christ in 2005, he has not stopped pursing his own personal discipleship. Answering the call of ministry, Jason and Kirsten entered the Ministerial Internship Program through the Church of God. This couple placed at the top of their class for both male and female participants, which was a first in Indiana COG history. Since then, Jason has been working on a Bachelors of Science degree in Church Leadership from Lee University.

As the Director of LifeBuilders Men's Ministries, Jason leads men's small groups and teaches a men's discipleship class. He also teaches the 1st & 2nd Grade boys class during our Wednesday Family Enrichment hour.  Being an organizer, Kirsten helps plan most of the events at the church and fills in wherever needed. She is a member of the Praise and Worship team, an Alliance Women's Discipleship Mentor, coordinates the monthly ministry volunteer schedules, and is the assistant to Crissy Sanders Ministries (www.crissysanders.org).  Both Jason and Kirsten also serve as representatives for our church with Terre Haute Ministries, an association of congregations responding in faith, hope and love to meet the needs of our community.

They have been married for ten years and have three beautiful children- Jalen Tyler (10), a young talented drummer aspiring to use his talent to play for a Christian band - Kaden Blaine (8) , an active tumbler always eager to tell others about Jesus - and Rayen Mercy (2), or "Rayme" as she is known to all her little friends. Together this family is working toward winning the city of Terre Haute for Christ.
